Established by carpenter & owner Tim Macdonald in 1986, MAC Building has grown to one of the area’s largest independent and most experienced building contractors. We now employ 18 highly qualified staff and, as a business, hold qualifications with The National Federation of Builders, CITB, Registered Fair Trades and Gas Safe, meaning we are able to work on any building or project, new or old, no matter how big or small. We offer a complete building service to ensure the whole build is done to our high standards. We also offer plumbers, carpenters and joiners, with a purpose built joinery workshop, where we manufacture timber windows, doors, staircases and other bespoke woodwork.
